Is carpet a bad idea with dogs and kids?
Not anymore. Today’s stain-resistant carpets shrug off most spills and pet accidents, and carpet actually traps dust and allergens until you vacuum them up. And when we install yours, we haul the old carpet out — you don’t touch it.
Where does carpet still make the most sense?
Bedrooms and living rooms. It’s warmer, quieter, and softer underfoot — the rooms where you actually kick your shoes off.
How long does carpet last?
Most carpet lasts 5–15 years, depending on traffic and how it’s cared for. A busy hallway wears faster than a guest bedroom — we’ll tell you straight which styles hold up.
Will it wrinkle?
Not when it’s installed right. We power-stretch every install — pulled tight the way the warranty requires — so it stays flat instead of rippling a year later.
